A: Typically, the glitter tattoo lasts for about 3-5 days. Longevity can be affected by factors like weather, placement (areas with less friction last longer), and how often it's touched. To maximize the duration, we recommend avoiding scrubbing the area during showers for the first 24 hours after application.

How do I apply the glitter tattoo for the first time?

A: Make sure your skin is clean and completely dry before application. Do not apply lotion or oils to the area where you want the tattoo, as this will affect adhesion and how long it lasts. Sweat and water can also reduce stickiness. If you have trouble applying it multiple times, please contact customer service.

Why isn't the design transferring onto my skin properly after multiple tries?


Please ensure your skin is thoroughly clean and completely dry before application. Using the stencils right after showering (once skin is fully dry) can sometimes help. Any sweat, dust, lotion, or oil on the skin will significantly reduce the adhesive's stickiness. If you continue to have issues after ensuring the skin is prepped correctly, please contact our customer service team.

Can I shower or swim with the glitter tattoo on?

A: Yes! Once applied, the glitter tattoo is waterproof and suitable for normal showering and swimming. However, please avoid vigorously rubbing or scrubbing the tattooed area.

What's the difference between the coarse and fine glitters in the kits?

Coarse Glitter: Features larger, distinct particles for a bolder, more textured look with vibrant colour payoff. It creates a striking, almost jewel-like effect that photographs beautifully – perfect for making a statement.

Fine Glitter: Has a smoother, more delicate texture, almost like velvet. It provides a more subtle, sophisticated shimmer with a beautiful iridescent or pearlescent glow that catches the light beautifully.

Will the glitter shed or fall off?

Some minor shedding of loose glitter particles can occur, especially with rubbing or friction against clothing – this is normal. Fine glitter tends to adhere slightly better than coarse glitter. Don't worry, even with minor shedding, the main design will remain vibrant and sparkly through normal wear, even when exposed to water.

How do I remove the glitter tattoo?

A: The easiest and gentlest way is to use an oil-based makeup remover or baby oil. Apply generously, let it sit for a minute to soften the adhesive, then gently rub with a cotton pad or cloth. Alternatively, during a warm shower or bath, you can gently exfoliate the area with a washcloth or sponge and soap. Avoid harsh, excessive scrubbing.

Can I use the glitter on surfaces other than skin?


The glitter powder itself is cosmetic-grade but can certainly be used for crafts on surfaces like paper, glass, acrylic, PVC, etc. However, the body adhesive included in the kit is specifically formulated and tested for skin use only.

Are the stencils single-use?

A: The stencils function similarly to traditional temporary tattoo transfers – they involve a thin adhesive film. While primarily designed for single use for the best results, with careful handling (peeling off slowly, cleaning gently), you might be able to get 2-3 uses out of one stencil.
